Dawn Bobel and Mike Turley
Dawn and Mike are excited to announce their wedding to be held in St. Thomas, USVI on December 12, 2008. They would like to invite you to join them in this tropical paradise as they exchange their vows.
The Bride
Dawn was born in Amherst, Ohio and graduated from Amherst High School. She is a 2007 graduate from the Ohio State University. Dawn majored in Family Financial Management and specialized in Real Estate. She currently lives in Grandview, a quaint town in Columbus, Ohio. Isabella, her dog, loves to take her on walks around the city. Her current job has also sparked an interest in good wine.
The Groom
Mike was born in Lakewood, Ohio and graduated from North Ridgeville High School. He began his culinary career at the age of 16. In 2000, Mike graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. His innate ability to cook has landed him Executive chef and Sous Chef jobs in the Lake Erie Islands, Cleveland and Alaska. He has also enjoyed working in New York, Texas and Ireland. Mike's current position is in Columbus, Ohio where he is working under a Certified Executive Chef. His hobbies include watching tennis, playing guitar, fishing, and we can't forget, taking good care of his car.The Bride and Groom
Mike and Dawn met in 2004 when Dawn went to Put-In-Bay to work at The Crew's Nest for a summer. Mike was the Executive Chef at the private boating club and had worked there for 8 years. Dawn was waiting tables for the first time. They began dating and continued to date after they left the island at the end of the summer season. Three years later, in July 2007, Mike proposed to Dawn.
